Training Overview

Mal, a Guild Accredited Trainer, offers a number of different framer training courses.  By employing his extensive military, air and ground training skills, which combined with his wide range ing knowledge of bespoke framing  brings the very best out of those attending.  All training is workshops based at Harlequin Frames, Welton, Lincolnshire which can accommodate up to and including three candidates.

Individual training can be tailored to an individual’s needs.  All training ids focused towards the Fine Art Trade Guild’s GCF(APF) and its advanced accreditations.

Training Courses include:

Taster Day.  

Recently designed to provide those who wish to consider framing either as a hobby or a career.  The candidates are taught workshop health and safety, workshops practise and the very basics of picture framing.  The candidates are asked to bring an item of artwork on paper(A4) and are taken through the different framing processes eventually leaving with the item and much of the framing tasks completed by themselves.
